Electric Chaman spent a large part of his childhood between France and the United States. "It was a highly traveling life. We have never stayed more than 1 or 2 years in the same place. I believe this period of time showed me life as a living road, where you meet people just for a moment, enough to bond and then say goodbye. It was a strange way of life, between sedentariness and nomadism."

Electric Chaman's approch to existence is based on this life experience. "When I think of it now, many years after, I see it as a chance. It gave me this opportunity to feel everything as equal, everything as meaningful. Companionship and loneliness, happiness and farewells, home and unknown countries, real world and imagination."

Music was part of the road. "We traveled a lot. At the end, it occurred to me that music was everywhere. Different in shape from place to place, but always there... A sort of constant in a changing world. It gave me a lot to think about and access to a lot of influences: Weather Report, Public Image Ltd, Vangelis, King Crimson, Björk or even Motörhead!"

Electric Chaman sees music as an ultimate vehicle to reach the deepest emotion as well as the infinite universe, a perfect language to speak with anyone anywhere, a flow that will take you from everyday life to dream lands, and from dreams to universal spirituality. A third eye to see things related to each other and part of a whole.

Motionless traveler, seeker of reality, inhabitant of the universe, Electric Chaman intends to explore both sides of this world, writing his music like travel notes.
